Cleaner Shrimp

Hello,

I have two cleaner shrimp and at night after i turn the light off they come to the front of the tank and sit on the rock. But while they are sitting there they do like a funny dance. They sort of sway with the water and wiggle their tails. What are they doing?

Maybe they are spawning, or releasing larvae. Have they been carrying eggs?

I havent seen anything that looks like an egg, but i also dont know what they look like.

Their eggs are tiny. They stick to the shrimp until released into the water where they will get eaten or filtered out of the water.

They could also be setting up their cleaning station, maybe their trying to get your fishes attention.

could you descride the shimp, size and color cuz that sounds like sexy shrimp

Cleaners do that too.

They sway from side to side and sway their arms to.. its kinda like a flag to fish to say cleaning station here...
