cleaner Shrimps

What does everyone think of these in your tank? Do they bother anything. I have hermit and turbo snails but would also like to get one or two cleaner shrimps.

I have two cleaner shrimp in each of my two tanks. They do not bother anything. It is pretty cool to watch them "clean" the fish.

I have blood shrimp in 2 of my tanks. They are fun to watch clean and very beautiful!!

I have a blood shrimp and it does not harm anything. At one time I did have a sixline in my tank and it did not harm the shrimp.

I have a big 6-line and a clown wrasse in my 180 with 2 blood shrimp. They have been together for 3 years now. The shrimp were added first.

That may be the key to add the shrimp first so they dont look like food. Mine has killed 7 peppermint shrimps...

I have never been able to keep peppermint shrimp. Something always gets them. Blood/fire shrimp are fine.

I have six-lines in both of my tanks with skunks, blood reds, and peppermints. No issues thus far after more than a year and a half. Every situation is different.

Thats cool! Ive been wanting a cpl cleaners but was under the impression my huge CBS would kill them. ! more thing to buy :dance:

yea my cbs is fairly big too. i added the 2 cleaners way after i put him in. he doesnt even look at them.

I don't have a sixline but do have a clown and tang but it seems to be case by case. I will add them when the lights are down and hopefully wont have any problems. Thanks everyone. I'm excited.
