Cleaner Wrasse and Large Fish

Has anyone put a cleaner wrasse in with larger fish? How did it turn out?

I have a cleaner wrasse ready to be released into my tank. The tank has a ~7in panther grouper, ~5 in minius grouper, ~7 in New Gunea puffer and a 12 in coral catshark. I don't want to add him if he will become food.

Not sure this is the right forum for your question. You will probably get better responses in the Fish Only forum.

Thanks. Everything turned out good. All the fish love getting cleaned and the wrasse loves doing the cleaning.

The reason for the wrasse is because I saw 2 white dots on my cooperband. The dots are gone. Here is my puffer getting cleaned.

Enjetek you have pictures if you 120 gallon? What are the dimensions?

cleaner wrasses dont eat ich. and i doubt he would eat lymph either

I can't tell you what the butterfly fish had but the two white spots are gone. They do eat parasites which is still benefical. Even if it isn't ich or lymph, which I am not sure about,

I've had blue cleaners a few times, and while they do essentially nothing for ich, they will clean fish of lymph.

Wow, awesome fish. That copperband was waiting in line for his turn. The puffer seemed like he was in heaven. Glad it all worked out.

Actually, they do not eat ich parasites which are under the skin. On the other hand, I believe they do eat lymphocystis.
