Cleaner wrasse

just bought a cleaner. I have had it for 2 days. t was doing fine and now it has just disappeared. Do they hide or is it mia? Dont know much about them but it was eating frozen food.. All water primeters are 0

Mine never hid. It was always out in the open. I recently took it back to the store for pestering my blue tang to the point where the tang always hid when it saw the wrasse. Nice fish though but they shouldn't be hiding. What tanks mates do you have in there with it? Is it possible that it might have slipped into your plumbing system and down to your sump or jumped out?

Yea more than likely it is dead under or inside a rock,It must not have fully acclimated to your tank, with cleaners their hit or miss,Ive notice from experience,if you can keep them for a few weeks then your more likely to keep it longer,but if it just dissapears usually they died over night, Inotice both of mine sleep early and wake up early,thats how I know mine aren't dead. Usually if you wake up and Its not swiiming all over the place its a goner.

I have tangs and angels. I looked on the groynd and it was not there. I also have hob filters. So i guess he is a gonner. That sucks..
