Cleaners finally did it..

My pair of stupid bastard cleaner shrimp finally did it.

Had an RBTA for a couple months now.. added a pair of small cleaners a month after the nem.. and they would peck at the nem NON-stop.. I even tried smashing one of the cleaners with a turkey baster but he survived

Anyhow, they bothered the nem so much that it dissapeared last night, deep into the rockwork.. who knows when I will see it again.. :mad2: :mad2: :mad2:

sometimes I wish my flame hawk would actually eat my shrimp like he is genetically designed to do..

is there a reason why you can't get it out? A little food in the net is all it really take...

your BTA should be sticky if he is healthy and the cleaners shouldn't be able to get near him. the only time my cleaners can get close is right after a split. they will try to get in and steal his food but once the nem gets his strength back it doesn't take long for the shrimp to realize that they can't win that battle.

you lighting might be a little low for a BTA, what and how often are you feeding? can you post a pic??

If your nem is healthy you should have been able to give the shrimp a little nudge into the nem and let the nem have its revenge!

the cleaners mostly stuck on the base of the rbta, the nem is really healthy, I will post pictures later. But I just think the shrimp aren't too smart, although they get stuck in the tentacles they keep going back..

the anemone finally reappeared after 2 days moving through the rocks
