Cleaning a used tank.

I recently came across a nice 20 gal tank at a garage sale. Nice and cheap. It has some white staining, looks like mineral deposits. I tried soaking in white vinegar. It got most of it off, but I can still see it. Any other good was to get this stuff off the glass?

Thanks.

I was using an algae scrapper but a razor probably would work better... I dont know why I didn't think of that. Duh.

I looked up muratic acid and seems like potent stuff. I will try it as a last resort.

Thanks.

I use CLR or LimeAway .Works real quick . U can get Lime Away in a small spray bottle so u spot clean with little product use . Just make sure you rinse the tank well quite a few times .
