Cleaning back glass

I have the standard magnetic scrubber for my front and side glass, but need a solution for my back glass and overflow boxes. These areas are tough to scrub due to rock, and the back of my tank has been painted so I can't run the magnetic scrubber. Anyone have effective/creative solutions?

I just leave the back of the tank it adds a little character and I'm OCD! You don't want to clean off your coralline algae........

i too dont like the back glass covered wit coraline. i keep mine clean along with the side glass and front glass..

i simply take the inside part of a magfloat that cleans the inside glass, and rub down the back glass. once a month ill take a razor blade to it, to really make sure i get everything. but 99% of the time. i just use the inside part of the magfloat and manually rub it on the back glass...

my tuxedo urchin doesn't do much for the coralline (spends most of his time on the rocks) but i have 2 pincushion urchins that make quick work of it.

I also clean the back glass of my 50 gallon cube - I simply like the higher-contrast look of the coral against the black background. This is what I use, and can highly recommend. Unlike the cheap ones, this scraper has a really sturdy and stiff fiberglass rod, and interchangeable (disposable) blades.

I only clean the front and the one visible side of glass using a razor blade...the back glass, overflow and other side provide food (algae and coralline) for my tuxedo and rock boring urchins and my starry blenny.
