Cleaning ORP and pH probes?

Other than just cleaning the glass ends of these probes with a soft bristle toothbrush, what other tips are there for cleaning them?
Is it ok to soak them in vinegar for a bit first?
If so, should straight vinegar be used or should it be diluted?

Randy has suggested vinegar or 10% solution of muriatic acid diluted in water for pH probes.

Cant comment on ORP probe; but there is info about it on the Reef Chem forum (search for "ORP cleaning")
