cleaning streams

Roger,

I know I could probably search back and find a thread on this...but I figured I would ask anyway. Do I have to disassemble anything or can I just pull the stream out and soak it in vinegar/water for a few hours? Any suggestions without making this difficult. I should do this once a quarter right?

I a have a similar question, I looked at Rogers thread pertaining to sreaming noise coming from streams and how to clean them, this does not offer much detail about disassembling the stream, how do do you take the brakes of off the impeller?

The manual explains brake removal, you twist until they pop out and then they stop, you twist a bit further and they come out completely.

I would do a dissassembly at least every 6 months, I tried to explain the problem areas in my thread stickied at the top of this forum.
