I have two 6000's for about 8 months and they are covered with coralline algae. Should I periodically clean them? I was wondering if the perofrmance was suffering. If so, what shoould I use to clean them? Vinegar?
Yes, please see the thread at the top of this forum on cleaning. Cleaning the exterior is not as important but heavy algae growth will restrict flow. Use vinegar and a brush.
