Okay so a few things to share for those who do not know or want to know!!! ;)

When ur lighting setup has so much build up on it, such as the dried up calcuim, dust and etc... i figured, instead of scrubbing so hard on the glass or buying something from the fishstore (which usually costs more), what could we use at home that we can just use to clean these items without harsh abrasions and toxins that could kill the animals in our tanks...EASY...

 It's safe to use!!!

It easily dissolves the crystal buildup with no scrubbing at all and at the same time disinfects.

I've been using it for most of my cleaning specially with the powerheads that get so full of gunk. After cleaning, i usually place the powerhead(s) in a bucket of water and turn them on so that the inside is rinsed out. Before placing it back in the tank, i make sure that the whole system is dry.

DON'T FORGET. IT IS AN ACID SO JUST MAKE SURE IT'S RINSED OUT PROPERLY IF WHATEVER YOU ARE CLEANING IS GOING BACK INTO THE TANK.

***if i'm wong... someone say something!!!***
no really... i've been doing this for a while with no negative effects but if i'm wrong and it's not right...let me know...
