Cleaning used marine pure spheres

I recently switched sumps and another transfer over my marine pier. They have been sitting in the old song with a small amount of water for about six weeks. Do you think if I just ran them and your Aro DI water I would be OK or do I need to acid wash?

Moral of the post. How much should I clean old inactive marine pure spheres?

I would put them in fresh saltwater with circulation and a heater too. If you measure nitrate or po4 after a couple weeks then you need to do something. Or I would just drop a sphere or two into your new sump and see where what happens.
