Where can I get the 1/4" clear netting to make tops for my tank? Also, anyone using this ever have fish get thru it?
Thanks

BRS is the easiest place to find it. I've never found it anywhere else.

I have had a small pink bar goby get thru. It couldn't get back in thru and dried out :(

Just go to boat owners warehouse and get a used cast net .....very cheep and spot on for size

Did you mean Sailor Man? Either way I will check them out if the ones in the garage don't work out. Never thought of a casting net.

went to BOW and bought a 6 ft castnet to cover my 60 in tank, cost about 40$ one big problem, there is a hole in the middle of the net to pull the strings through when net colapses, the netting holes were the right size but you can only use 1/2 the net at the widest point.ordered from BRS

Renee, if you are in a hurry to get the mesh. I have some I bought from BRS for my tank . Just replace it when you can

Thanks Marvin,
I think I can wait. Will let you know if things change.

I have a casting net which is made out of monofilament, but the holes are to big. I also have a seine where the holes are small, but it looks like it is made out of some kind of nylon netting. If that makes any sense. The netting is not made of a single thread, but many.

Matt, is yours made of a single monofilament thread or several threads? If it is several, I am wondering how much it will reduce the light? Anyone using this type netting over sps? Opinions?
