clear with little black spots shrimp ID

Never seen a shrimp like this, not even diving... any ID appreciated. I found on my teardrop clam. I seized the opportunity and caught him, I'm tired of pests. Will return him if he is harmless though I can't even believe I saw him.

Looks like a commensal shrimp of some kind , it probably has a symbiotic relationship with the clam, or some other invert.

Definately a commensal species of some sort. It is probably cleaning your clam of detritus in those hard-to-reach places. I say put it back and take lots of spiffy photos of it on the clam.
