Sweet. I just got your PM a few minutes ago. I will call you tomorrow some time after 6 to schedule a time for pickup. Thanks again.

Cliff

The only part of that I'm not sure of is the skimmer neck... The rest is cake, but the neck is not possible with my tools. (Yes I have an oven, but no I don't get to use it. :) )

Cmon man! You dont have to built an old fashion round skimmer! Be different and built a square one. Cut out 4 trapezoid shaped acrylic and use that for your neck! You can get a much bigger area and less turbelence which is essential in a skimmer. Plenty of options, like a diffuser plate ala Bubble King!

Alright Russ, you got me thinking... :) Let's see if we can come up with a good idea and take a wack at it. But who needs a skimmer?

Hey Eric, what so you use to polish your acrylic with? I still need to get those scratches out of that 90. Wanna trade scratches for plumbing? ( I think you made mention somewhere about needing some joints sweated in)

It's just a plastic buffing compound with a buffer that I fit into my drill... I think I've finally figured out the joint sweating, but I'm sure I could help you buff it a bit. Are the scratches on the outside or inside? Outside will be quick and easy, but inside can be a little tough. I'm headed out of town today after work, but hit me up 7/31 or later and I'll help. :)

Who needs a skimmer? Uhmmm...YOU! Make a skimmer for that long arse tank you are planning on.

Decisions decisions... I got home yesterday and had a package at the door. I ordered some custom cut 3/8" acrylic about 3 weeks ago and thought the order didn't go through... Guess I was wrong, so now it looks like I'm going to have to build a Clam tank after all. :) 18x18x10 with look down capability... Stay tuned!!!

Eric, the scratches are on the inside, but the tank is empty. Freshbrew bought it, but I would still like to get the scratches out for him. I will get with you sometime in August.

Hey Cliff, any update on setting this baby up?

Todd, my time is getting booked up really quick, but let me know next time you are headed up if you want to do a quick buffing... :)

hey eric, whats thestuff you use to buff with? i need to get to wqork on my new 55.

also, could you buildme a house? i dont care if its made of acrylic :)
