close call - zoo poisoning

I was tinkering around last night in prep for heading out of town. Moved some zoanthid frags around and didn't think twice about it. A couple of hours later, I started developing a VERY strong sour metallic taste. Literally everything tasted like *$#( for about 2 hours. Fortunately, no other side effects.

I think I either had residual on my hand or it was from the towel I was using. Just a quick reminder to be careful.

P.S. Your not supposed to stick your hands in your mouth during aquarium playtime, and/or suck on the towel....

I got some in my mouth from a paly. It was so intense. My eye watered for a good hour and I knew it was poison because I had a funny taste too.

Blech!

Good thing we are ok!

I was wearing gloves and brushed them against my lip, licked my lip, swallowed, and down my throat it went. I considered gurgling vinegar!

I had a little hit the outside of my lip and the corner of my mouth went numb before. scared the **** out of me

You are not to try every flavor till you find the one that works. Thats what friends are for. lol. My fingertips are pretty smooth from moving things around once in a while during tank cleanings. And from what I've heard, you have to put it on your tung. Lips won't work.
