Felt the urge to go down stairs to look at the tank before the lights went off. Looked around and noticed the rhomboid wrasse I got from Carlos last week isn't swimming near his usual spot. Take a look around and see him on top of the screen. I start freaking out but notice he is still breathing, although very slowly. I scooped him up and lowered him into the tank with the pumps off and watched him come back to life. He's since gone to his hiding spot so I'm just hoping he pulls through. Inspected the netting and there's a hole no bigger than my thumb right in the middle of my netting. Looks like it's time to redo it.

If the head fits, the fish fits. :)

Glad you happened to be in the right place at the right time. He'll be fine (provided you fix the screen!).

I removed my screen to start moving things around and making frags for next weeks meeting. My 6 line has jumped into the overflow a few times but never out of the tank, until the day I had the screen off. Found him behind the tank later when I went to put the screen back on for the night :-(

I just added some wrasses to my tank. I screened in the back of the canopy and may add a screen to the top. What about connecting a small 9V battery and charging the screen? :)

The BRS screen kits are pretty nice. I got one after a diamond goby took a drive and I didn't find him until he was gone. I've also rescue a different from the sump along with a clown goby.
