Those Nikon pictures are awesome. I don't care what anybody says Nikon pictures are so much different than Canon's. Even my "L" lenses don't get images like that.

Selgado, I keep looking at that M. Confusa. Are you sure it's not maybe a M. Spongodes?

From what Steve Tyree says (http://www.reeffarmers.com/limitedmontiporaconfusa.htm) M. Spongodes tends to be more branching. M. confusa is more laminar and only develops column-like branches. I would probably need to get a wider shot for you to be able to see the colums better.
