Closed Brains

I'm thinking about buying a closed brain. I have 175w SE MH fixture over a 20g high. I'm sure it's enough lighting,Gonna add t-5s or PC actinics...Anyways,was wondering what kind of care they need,One thing that I've been wondering about is if they consume Calcium Thanks guys!:thumbsup:

There are many different kinds, but they are pretty adabtable so your lighting should be fine. They are very tolerant of different types of flow, but high currents can make them develop really long sweeper tentacles that will kill just about anything in their path. They will consume calcium if rapidly growing, but not at a rate that a single one will be a concern with normal maintenance.

I just got one and it is doing better each day since I heard they have to adapt to their new enviroment.
