I recently purchased a used 450 that has been drilled for a closed loop
I plan on using a super dart
there are 2- 1.5" intakes and 8- 1"returns
4 in the front bottom and 4 in rear back
I'm going to use a 4 way Ocean motions that is 2 open /2 closed

thinking 1&2 -- 5&6

3&4--7&8

suggestions?

no one has a comment???

I really wanted some input

using 4 way I was concerned that one side would have less flow than the other because of the difference in head coming out of the opposite
openings on 4 way.

I have zero experience with the OM set ups

Looks good. I would use two super darts if you are not planning to. I have 2 CL on my 350 with two darts but 3 returns each side for six total.

Two OM will make it that much better.

Or ditch the Darts and get the hammerhead with the OM 8.

I agree, one Dart is not enough. Get two Darts or a Hammerhead. Personally, I'd go with two Darts. Redundency and less noise.

BTW, that tank is drilled for a "barrel" effect. Talk to Paul at Oceans Motions. He'll take you through it.

Thanks guys I'm looking to keep electric consumption down thats why I was opting to use one super dart for CL and on for the return.
I figured I could always add if it wasnt enough

Some of the Red Dragon Pumps may be a better option for electrical costs long term plus you can get more flow. Downside is the up front costs.
