for circulation ive been researching closed loops. i dont like the ugly powerheads but have always used them. on the same token i dont understand how a closed loop can be as affective, it seems to me like u need a 3600gph pump just to get 800 gp into the tank if u have more than one exit nozzle. this doesnt seem very effeceint i would rather buy something like 2 tunze nanostreams that push out 1000 each into the actuall aquarium. do i have this wrong? am i miscalculating. the closed loops are becoming popular but unless u have a small tank i dont understand why. my question is how much flow are u guys getting w/ your closed loops into the actual tanks and what kind of pumps are u using.
