closed loop or tunze stream

I am looking to increase flow in my tank while removing my 4 MJ900's. I was originally going with a closed loop running a quiet one 6000 at around 1200gph, but now I am looking at adding a Tunze 6000 with a single controller. I already have the 4 MJ(i would like to remove) and a quiet one 4000 as my sump/fuge return. My tank is a 90gl RR with a 30gl fuge.

So what are the pros and cons of each?
thanks,
mike

The pros of a Tunze would be:

No plumbing! Those true union ball valves add up fast plus more to leak and go wrong.

Low energy consumption! a 6000 only uses 15W of power vs. 140 watts the Quiet One uses.

The steams flow is controllable and wider. With a close loop you're limited.

I'm sure others will come up with more!

How is the flow thru out the whole tank. Its hard to believe that one pump can circulate like 3 or 4 small ones can. Has any anybody went from having multiple powerheads to just one. I would think that having a closed loop with 2 outs and 3 ins would circulate better.
