closed loop versus powerheads

Very nice tank.
for me My new 150 was designed with a CL in mind. Safety of hte system comes in before it's look so instead of having many holes in the tank and external tubing and pumps I designed an additional partition next to the overflow (both cover the whole width of the tank so I don't see the partitions anymore. The CL pumps are in that partition getting water back from holes in the wall of hte partition so water level is the same by gravity. I have to CL one on SCWD and another without any random flow both push around 1750 GPH. flow is nice mildly random because of the limited flow in the SCWD. however as others mentioned it is a bit direct flow. I'll be adding an OM squirt soon and hopefully that will improve things a bit. if not then I will be adding a vortech. Unfortunately it has to be on the open space of my tank and will look very ugly as on the other side I have water in the overflow and pumps partition and its powerhead cannot go in the water. (check build thread for pics that will make it clearer)
I do have 2 Seios on the upper left of the tank hidden by some rocks however those are mostly used for surface agitation.
