When I do FW baths I take a 5 gallon pail, 1/4 full of RO water, heater, add a pinch of buffer/baking soda, mix in, once temp matches, add the fish.

Report so far this morning is eyes are clear and he is back to devouring everything he's fed.

Another round of Furan 2 should suffice.

Pumped to get back home and see him.

Being optimistic now, granted after the additional round of Furan, how long should he remain in the quarantine after he has recovered.

I'd give 3 weeks, during that time treat with prazi pro. Depending on if you treated for ich, longer with copper or quinine sulfate would be wise also.

He was originally treated with Kordon ich plus. Which seemed to have worked getting rid of the original fungal infection.

Do we need to test ph in this situation or is that really not as impt?
