Cloudy Water

Hello all. I have a 25 gallon tank that is a little over 3 months old (not including cycle). The water is very cloudy and can be seen in the attachment provided. Last week I changed about 75% of the water and over the week it got cloudy again.

The tests indicate:
Ammonia - 0
Nitrites - 0
Nitrates - 0
pH - 8.0
dKH - 11
Phosphates - 0.025
Calcium - 440

Does anyone know why this could be happening?

A few things..
-bacterial bloom (probably the issue)
-sand "fines" from powerhead/water movement (if using small oolite/fine sugar sand)

When did it "start" to get cloudy? Disturb the sand? Change the filters?,etc..
That may help in providing a solution..

How long has it been like that?

I've added a power filter with filter floss and an aquatic life skimmer about the same time that this started. This has been going on for about 3 or 4 weeks now. I had a bad algae bloom I guess because it was a newer tank and when that went away, the water got like this.

Being that your parameters look ok I wouldn't even worry about it. Just let nature take it's course and it should clear up given time. I wouldn't mess with your rocks, the sand, the filters etc for awhile though.

Does it stay like this for days? Just thinking maybe if you have inverts could be breeding. My water gets cloudy like that when my Snails breed. But usually only last for half a day to a day max. If it's longer then that could just be particulates getting blown off the sand bed. Use a filter for a while it should help. Just make sure to change the floss often.

I use an ro/di unit. And no its been lasting longer. I have a power filter hooked up and it seems like it's starting to get better.
