cloudy water...

Well guys, yesterday I added two Koralia #1's to my tank as per advice from this forum (29g). My tank remains cloudy and im not sure whats going on. How can I get it uncloudy? Im currently about 5 gallons short from evaporation and such (only running sand and water in it right now)...Will adding 5 new gallons of water make it nice and clear again? I added a water clarifier but no dice. Im also currently running an aquaclear filter...If im running the powerheads should I turn this off now? Please help guys. Also all my tests are pretty much dead on.

i would try more carbon or run purigen.

Sounds like your powerhead is blowing your sand around

just be patient it will clear up.

when i finally got my #4s running in my tank it looked like a tank full of milk, i didnt wash my sand or anything and it was a giant mess.

i have alot of lighting on my tank and i swear that i couldnt see 1/16th of an inch thru the water.

it will clear up.

get you some live rock in there, it will eat that cloudiness up, in the mean time, keep running your filter and power heads. depending on how fine the sand is, it could take a couple of days to become clear

i had semi cloudy water after i stopped running carbon but then i went back to running it and it cleared it right up...
