Clove Polyps and Pipe Organs

I have never paid much attention to them, but I ran across a few photo's today that made me interested. First off, what is the difference between the two? How are their requirement different? Also, how aggressive are they? I'm not wanting anything like Xenia which can overtake my tank. If they can be isolated easily then I might give them a try.

On that note, what are some of the more sought after varieties? Any photos would be appreciated.

Neon yellow and green clove polyps are very pretty. Bert's had some a few months back. They don't grow like xenia or anthelia in my experience... more like zoos... a little slower. I think they are related to zoos....
As far as Pipe corals the only kind I kept was the burgandy coralline base type that looks pretty much like anthelia. It didn't grow well for me at all... I don't know if it was a calcium issue or feeding or if I just burned them up under metal halides. They shrunk back and the base started to dissolve. I would like to try some nice cloves... I wonder if they come in red? Neither are what you would consider aggresive...

I have never grown clauveria but I have grown tubipora. It has spurts of growth but does not get out of hand. I received it from Mary. It was a one polyp frag when I got it and it has grown into a nice little colony. It will not run like xenia because its sclerites are externally fused.

You beat me to it Phil I was going to refer them to you as I knew you have had them for going on 3 years now.
