clown acting weird

my maroon clownfish started acting jittery and going to the surface a lot for to suck on air bubbles. she and her partner have been in my tank for several months now and this is new. she looks very healthy and even now still eats up a storm if i let her. any ideas?

Any new fish additions?

When in doubt a water change may help and have no downside.

Fish hanging at the top of the tank is often a sign of a gill/breathing issue which can result from ammonia burns or a parasite issue.

just a brain coral was added. this morning the clown is back to normal but either way water change was scheduled for this weekend. thanks
