clown addition?

Ok so i started out w/ two true percula clowns, male female. The female decided it would be fun to go carpet surfing. To bad i wasnt homw to throw her back in. After a trip to the fish store the new one was in a couple hours after the death. This one decided to get sucked into the overflow and died in the filter socks. The male is still alive but very sad. I was wondering if I could think into occelarous instead of a new percula. Will the percual and occelarous pair up?

Your male may turn into a female if left alone in a tank for too long. Yes an occellaris and a true percula will pair up. The next fish you buy should still be a juvenile.

Before you buy any new fish, I would suggest that you put an eggcrate top on your tank and use needle point plastic canvas to block the teeth of your overflow. I do not recommend getting a new fish until you have "clownproofed" it.

where do you get the needle point canvas, I've been looking for something to seal off my overflow in anticipation for new clowns
