Clown + Anemone = Aggression????

Hi all!
This is my first post so don't judge. I have a 65g tank that has been running for about a year now. The first fish i got for it were 2 clowns (don't know the species, will try to upload pics). I recently added a green bubble tip anemone and the smaller of the two (I believe the male) was the only one of the two that took interest in it. So much so that he has become SUPER aggressive. He has nipped me and my poor fairy wrasse. I thought usually the females were aggressive? Should i remove him from my tank before something bad happens? Is there some way to handle this?

Thanks and any help is appreciated!

Fish: carpenters fairy wrasse, royal gramma, 2 clowns, yellow clown goby (soon 1 red male mandarin, 1 green female mandarin, Don't comment on their care... i know)
Inverts: cleaner shrimp, many hermits, many asterea snails, maxima clam, 3 turbo snails, (soon a harlequin serpent star)

My clowns went through the same thing. Once they realized the anemone was home they wanted to make sure everyone knew it. After a while it died down and they realized no one cared about it.

Sounds about right. My female hates it when I put my hands in the tanks. She hates it even more if anyone comes near her anemone. The male is right there to back her up. I just wear gloves now. If you replace the aggressor it will most likely just happen again. It's in their nature to protect their home.

I agree with the others. Home is where the heart is and should be protected from humans or other potential aggressors.

How dare we stick our hands in their home! My female really doesn't care if I go near her star polyps. My little male...all 1" of him, charges me and tries to nip. It's pretty comical.

My female won't even let my male in the anemone. He gets in a certain distance to it or touches it and she chases him out. Besides a goby that sticks to the sandbed there are no other fish for her to mess with though.

My female also hates it when I put my hand in the tank, I hand feed, and assumed she was really hungry, however when I am dispensing food, she still nips at my hands. Cute, but at the same time I imagine being her and immediately feel bad for stressing her out.
She also hates it when the male comes near her BTA, this has just started over the last two nights, found him sleeping above one of the powerheads. I've since given him some pvc pipe with a 90* elbow to sleep in. That's what they had before the nem got introduced.
