Clown Attack!

hey-
So I had this small black ocellaris clownfish for a while, then I decided to try and get her to pair with a much smaller orange ocellaris- It was a little rough at first of course. The larger black one being territorial with the orange- I actually pasted some pics up around the tank of orange 'o's and it helped ALOT- I took the pics down after like 4 days and there wasn't any attacking going on after that.
A few weeks later it looks like they paired! They swing together, do the little clownfish crazy dances etc- The smaller one doing the submission jitters to the larger one and everything.
Flash 4 months later- And for the first time after being cool for 4 months, when the lights go down the black 'o' really chases the orange guy out of the torch that has been their joint home for the past 4 months.
To the point where it looks like she's trying to really hurt him. The orange guy stays away afraid for a while. When I see this I post pics up again and the black 'o' gets freaked out and everything calms down.

Are they maybe not really paired? Should I be concerned about this or just let it play out?

Any input would be appreciated- I don't want the little guy to get torn apart.

I had the same thing happen to a pair of ocellaris, exept the female was actually much darker than the male. They appeared to be paired, but then the female decieded that she didnt like him and she threw him out of the tank. Literally.
