if you dont like to lose money i would stay with the cheapest(maybe emerald crabs) if you wand a crab that is not a hermit.
i have owned many different ones. i have had some of the same hermits and emeralds for over a year now. i would think that the crab pictured would live a while if taken care of
There is nothing more known about this crab – although with the scientific name You can search at least. How big is it (only carapace width)? It surely may live some three to four years but this really is just a wild guess because most crabs at least can get that old.
