Hey Everyone. I have a pair of ocelaris clown fish that I noticed last night were acting weird. Well maybe its not weird but it was the first time I saw them doing this. They would lower to the sand, right next to each other, then like shake and swim creating a crater shape in the sand. The bigger one would go first, then would like push and nip at the other one to get him to do it. They seemed very playful last night. Constantly floating/swimming in front of one another and bumping each other before doing this. My gf got excited thinking they were maybe mating. As I sat there watching, It did almost look like they were. So now she got me excited. I know a mated pair is kinda hard to get randomly but have you seen this happen? Are they just playing, marking territory, or mating? I took a video of it but for some reason it did not save to my phone. Any input is welcome.
