Clown fish behavior

I bought two Ocellaris clown fish 5 weeks ago. I put them in quarintine for 4 weeks where I started to notice there behavior. They both seemed to stay in one spot the entire 4 weeks. Only venturing out to eat, but I figured this was because they didn't care for the PVC QT. After 4 weeks I moved them to the DT where I thought they would feel more comfortable. However, they have picked a spot in the tank and only leave it to eat. I thought there was too much flow in my tank because they stay in the back corner on the same side as my vortech. It is in the area with the least amount of flow. So I turned the MP10 down to 50% and they still hang around the back corner of my 40 breeder tank. Is this normal?

Yup, normal. In the wild they rarely leave their nem, so the same can be said for life in an aquarium. They have been known to host overflows, corals, etc. as long as they are eating you should be cool
