Clown fish behavior

Is this some sort of mating dance or other ritual? They have been doing for a couple days. They have no anemone to host so they host in the Monti Cap.

they are paired up and will have eggs eventually. Watch for them cleaning a spot on a rock with their mouths.

I would agree, that looks like a pre-spawn swim, up and down together vertically in the column.
Sometimes the first hatch is a “dud”
