clown fish died!

I woke up today to see my male clownfich stuck to the closedloop suction.Anyway the pair were regularly spawning and the male would not eat.Then he got like a swollen stomach.aI tried to spot feed but he would not accept.Shortly after a week he died.What did I do wrong? Is there any eay I could get another possible male so that it will pair with the feamale?O will the female be forever widowed?please help.thanks

I would say he may have gotten an internal parasite? Just a guess though. You could try and pair the female up with another mate. They should resume breeding, but it could take quite awhile. Good luck and sorry about your loss.
