Can anyone please help me identify the problem with my clownfish as highlighted in the pic attached.
1. How old is this aquarium? Its a quarantine tank. Since my display tank is also cycling i used biopronto to establish the bacteria population. Its now been running for last two weeks.
2. If less than six months old, what is ammonia level? Ammonia level is zero
3. What is SG of this aquarium? How measured? SG rite now is 1.018 but increasing very slowly.
4. When was the last fish added to this aquarium? 2 weeks back.
5. Was it quarantined? If so, how? And how long? Was it prophylactically treated? How? As mentioned above.
6. If you are using a copper based medication, which one? How often do you measure level? When? - No Copper treatment
7. If you are using hyposalinity, how did you calibrate your refractometer? - No
8. Please describe in detail, the appearance of the fish? If there is one or more pimples, are they lumpy? What color? - On sunday i noticed swelling near its tail.
9. Please describe the behavior of the fish as best you can. Is it acting reclusive? Is it always up towards the top of the aquarium? Is it avoiding light? How active is the fish? Fish is very active and eating food w/o any issues. Both clowns seem comfortable and usually stay at middle height or in pvc. Rather have not noticed any difference in the behaviour of this fish since the swellin.
10. Is the fish eating? What? Flakes/pellets.
There are only two clowns in qt.
