Clown fish hosting

Not necessary. I have two clown fish that don't have an anemone. They hang out and sleep in the back corner of my tank.

Absolutely necessary for them to feel comfortable. But the good news is that they readily accept an appropriately sized ceramic flowerpot as host. If you want you can let it overgrow with starpolyps or any other coral.

No! Had my two clowns for years and they are doing fine. Even laid eggs several times as they hang out in a corner and clear the sand out to the bottom.

Good idea! I really don't want anemone in this go around. Thanks
