Clown Fish with Bizaare problem

Hi Everyone,

My husbands Clown Fish has one of my eyelashes stuck in his mouth. It's my Husbands tank, and he's been away for two weeks. I really am only in charge of turning the lights on, feeding and water changes. I have no idea what I should do. I have been watching the fish for about an hour and it seems like he's pretty stressed out. He's carrying around the eyelash in the side of his mouth like a piece of straw!

What would you do? should I net him and remove it? I don't want him to come home to a dead fish!

Just one eyelash? He will get rid of it eventually, I wouldnt worry about it.

You're positive it's an eyelash and not something like a piece of algae from inside the aquarium?

I am almost 100% positive it is MY eyelash. At first I thought it might be hair algae or something, but it is thick and rigid and curled!! ahaha it is the weirdest thing

I just hope he's doesn't die! Thank you for the response
