Clown Fish

I had a pink skunk clown fish that committed suicide when I came home today. I did notice she likes staying at the top of the tank but why did she do it? Do clown fish regularly do that or is it just my fish. I came home and it was to late she mustve been there for about 3 hours on the floor. I want to get another clown fish but will they keep jumping out. I would put a top on my 20 gal tank but I have a metal hallide light. What should I do?

you could get an eggcrate for the top of the tank

Fish don't jump that often, I would try again without doing anything

If I take the meaning of "glass canopy" correct, I wouldn't recommend it. Because it would impede evaporation, I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Egg crate is the way to go here...
