Clown for a rose Bubble

A trusted store I frequent suggested an ocellaris clown for a bubble instead of the golden striped maroon. 2 reasons he said, 1 they get mean and 2, they tear up the bubbles unless the BT is larger and can handle it.

I trust him but I have never known anything but a Maroon to properly host a BT. Any ideas?

My ocellaris and percula are being hosted in a big rose bubble just fine. They went straight into the anemone the moment I put them in the tank

Thanks, I was hoping the black and white ocellaris would but maybe I have to choose the maroon and the clarki

You don't have to settle for fish you don't necessarily want. Ritteri (H. Magnifica) anemones are a natural host for Ocellaris clowns and one would do really well in your size tank provided you have strong lighting. A pair of B&W Ocellaris clowns would love it. They grow fairly large in aquariums and that's a big turn off for some hobbyists. But if you don't mind it then it could work very well.

Thanks, I should say that I would not settle, I think all fish have their place and appeal. aren't the ritteri very difficult to keep even in a stbla aquarium?
