clown getting bullied

This is driving me crazy.

My yellow tang and coral beauty are bullying my female clarkii. She is much bigger than either of them but the CB keeps swimming between her and her anemone or swimming right in front of her face when she is in the anemone. The yellow tang does very similar things and also steals her Formula One flake. I have to put in one or two flakes at a time to be sure that she gets enough to eat. She rarely leaves her anemone now.

I've never heard of CB or YTs being this aggressive toward a clownfish. Anyone have experience with this happening?

I'm also getting worried about the YT because it isn't taking down much of the graciala (sp) that is still in the tank and it is even ignoring most of the spirulina flake, just eating the Formula One.

Thanks for letting me vent. I'd like to know if anyone has any suggestions and/or similar experiences.

I had a similar experience with the coral beauty. I had one that was around 3-4" and I put in a maroon clown that was around the same size. I believe that if the angel had teeth or spines lke the tang does it would have killed the maroon. Thankfully this only lasted around 1.5-2 weeks and they both finally calmed down. perhaps a rearrangement of the tank will help. As for the tang. I only see YT as a lawnmower. If it's not doing it's job then I would send it packing and get somthing that is not aggressive and far more effective, a lawnmower blenny. Mine reminds me of my old high school janitor. He is ugly but has lots of personality and gets the job done without complaining.

I can't keep any benthic fish alive in this thank. I have a cryptic organism that takes them out within 3 days.

I wish I could figure out what it is. Been in there for 3 years. I keep hoping it will just die but it took out a 5" sleeper gobie on it's first night in the tank about a month ago. No body, no bones, no screaming nothing....

dude, that is spooky. I think your tank is haunted and that is why you are having so many problems with it lately. seriously, call a priest

that or I have a black hole! Seriously, this is a known problem. I guess I could just tear the whole thing apart and poke and prod into every hole in the LR but then all my sponges would die and I'd likely upset the DSB and crash everything. I just don't want to "start" over right now. MY BTA split last night oo.
