clown gobies' new house

well my clown goby decided he would sit on the clam all day long! doesn't this present a problem most of the day now the clam will only be open 1/4 the normal. do i need to get the fish out or will the clam deal with it. my concern is if the clam is irritated enough he will move

clown gobys are slowly dying out... sounds bad but them or the clam
