Clown has Lymphocytis

i have looked on the fish disease forums and it looks to me now that my clown has lymphocytis. his lower half lip has growth on it and inside his mouth. yesterday i ran over to the lfs and they didn't have any maracine but something similar as i thought it was fungal. i dosed the tank. he is quiet, not eating and i just feel so helpless. is there anything i can do. Parameters are fine in the tank:

SG .024
temp. 79
trates-0
trites-0
am-0
Ph-8-4

Could i, if worse comes to worse, take tweezers and take the growth off (that should be a task), or will this clear up on it's own with stable parameters?

I wouldn't tweeze off the lymph -- he's already stressed enough. The lymph will clear up on its own if the water parameters stay as they are and if he starts eating.

You have, have, HAVE to get him to eat. If you don't, his immune system will slowly diminish and he'll be highly susceptible to secondary infections that will likely kill him. (Please don't listen to the people who tell you just to wait and do nothing for lymph.)

Soaking in garlic is an excellent enticer. Cyclopeeze could work since its small and his own body makes it scatter like crazy as if the cyclopeeze are alive and they like the little chase. Be sure you turn off the powerheads when you feed the little guy 'cause if he's still smallish and tank raised, he's used to food coming directly to him.

What have you tried to feed him so far?

i'm afraid it's too late, he died this afternoon. his mouth was so stretched out you could see throught the skin and it looks like he had a tear on his left side. i am getting very discouraged. this is now the second fish i have bought that has died. the first of ich. he was in a 10g and i tried to feed him some mysis soaked in garlic but nothing. when is this all going to end and i get some fish that will last!!
