Clown + heater = ?

Can some one please tell me why my clown will not leave my heater alone. Its like he is chained to it. he just stays in the top cornor that it is in.

What is the temp in the tank? My QT runs a little on the cool side, and most of the fish I put in there hang out around the heater. Or, it could simply be that the clown has adopted the heater as its host????

see that is what i was thinking. the tank sits at 79 at night and 81 in the day so i dont think it is the temp. The heater does have a big red circle eblem where he hangs out so I figured it was a hosting thing.

Clowns will host ANYTHING!! We have had some host, magfloats, pots, trays, powerheads, rocks, snails, etc....They live up to being clowns....funny!

Currently my pair in QT are hosting a corner of the tank just the way upper corner though. It is funny because the female swims as if the side is the bottom. Too bad the male is not allowed too close.
