Clown hosting tricks??

When I feed the anemone the clowns will touch it but will never host it. Does order matter?? I got the clowns first and them got the anemone but was with out and anemone for a couple months. The lady at the LFS sayed that they where hosting and anemone. So I am at a lost as to why these things will not host?? Here is a picture of what they look like:

i would worry more on the anemones health. it looks bleached.
