clown in a 5.5 or 10 ??

my lfs has about 100 SMALL clows the are pretty cheap im just wondering if i could pull of keepin one in a 10 or a 5.5 till its time to go biger how long would i be able to keep it in the 10 ?

Depends on the species. The smaller clowns, oscellaris and percula can be kept long term in a ten gallon tank. I have a pair of oscellaris over three years in a ten.

I have a little baby clarkii in my 5.5. It was about 3/4 of an inch when i got him. He was the smallest clarkii i have every seen. He has been in there for about 2 months. But in the future i plan on putting him in a mansion(biggertank).
