Clown jumped into back chamber, any tips on how to get him out?

Hey guys, I have a nano cube and a clown jumped into the back chamber where the return pump sits. If you're not familiar with this tank, this chamber is kind of "L" shaped so I can't figure out how to get him out of the bottom part of the L. Any tips? Thanks for your help!

I've tried putting some food to lure him to the top. I've tried shutting down the pump. I can't seem to coax him out so I can net him. It's getting frustrating! :headwally:

Thanks for the tips guys. I'd prefer not to try draining the chamber since I'm scared he'll be stuck in the back part of the L where I can't reach with no water. I'll try coaxing him out with my hand... again. lol

coulda swore I just saw this same post a few weeks ago same thing had happened. someone else had responded with very good advice on filling the chamber with sponge's/polyfiber to get the fish higher in the water

Give him a good verbal accosting and make him feel bad so he comes back over out of shame.

I tried this and it worked! Sort of, haha. I was stand there cursing at him for hiding and eventually he came out while my hand was in the chamber, perfectly still. He swam up high enough and I cupped him and slowly lifted my hand and trapped him against the side. Then just kind of scooped/threw him back over to the display side. All is well now. Thanks for the tips guys! It took a lot of patience but it ended up being pretty painless.
