I love this thread. Some great information. The types seem endless. Anyway I picked up a couple of Mocha true perculas 6 weeks ago. They were smallish. The probable female is about 1 3/4 inches , the male about an inch and a half. Now they're bouncing around their 30 gallon tank like they own the world. They aren't at all shy and seem to be friendly and curious. At first, they hung around this little cave area in the corner of the tank now they are all over it. I'm almost able to hand feed them. One thing I did notice is their eye color is very deep brown . All the Percs I see in most of the pictures have the Orange colored eyes. Is is possible they are some other strain of Percs?:clown:
