clown tang diet?

a few weeks ago i got a 5" clown tang. he is a very enthusiastic eater of the dried seaweed i feed him 3 times per day.

what else should i be feeding him? he is in my frag tank so not too many natural choices although there is some live rock in there that he picks at.

i have tried Formula 2 and spirulina cubes but he ignores them.

They tend to feed heavily on fleshy and filamentous algae. So, in addition to what you are doing now, possibly some live macroalgae, as well as allowing for some microalgae growth would work well. Keep trying the flakes, etc. Hopefully it will take these in time.
